Sailing France (Aug 2006)
It was the trip of 'no passion' but plenty of fun. Our captain, Marty 'king for a week, arsehole for the year' Napier showed us a brilliant time in the south of France on his trusty 42 foot yacht named 'Therapy'.
We had 7 days of sailing and anchoring around the south of France, going as far west as Sanary and as far East as Saint Tropez.
We ate like kings thanks to Anna's great cooking and Jabba's thrifty fillet steak purchases. And the relaxing was supurb.
Most days were spent gently sailing from Island to Island, looking for hospitable moorings in bays filled with crystal clear water and lots of fish. Sadisticle Sam couldn't help wrestling these two mighty buggers to the deck of the boat before bludgeoning them to death, then marinating them overnight in salt water, before eating them raw the next morning.
Swimming off the boat was brilliant, everyone had there own dismount styles, Jabba took the 'deep sea divers go down longer' award, and, Shaz 'my body is brown but my thighs are pink' award.
